In this age when mobile phone apps have replaced recording studios and the term “badass” rarely describes modern music\, J Roddy furthers the proud legacy of unrelenting rockers from Little Richard to Janis Joplin to KISS\, shredding eardrums and stirring souls with scrappy\, All-American anthems.  <br>  <Br>  Jonny Corndawg is a country singer\, not a singer-songwriter. Born in Montana\, raised in rural Virginia\, Corndawg has been touring on his motorcycle since he dropped out of school in 2001. He's played shows in every U.S. state\, Canada and eleven European countries\, Australia\, Argentina and India. But you won't find him on CMT. His music is more in the vein of that obscure '70s gay country that housewives would discover on a Bear Family reissue in twenty years. In addition to pursuing the lost art of the Real Deal\, Corndawg is an airbrushing\, leather-working\, marathon-running\, truck-driving American. Born and Bred.  <Br>  <Br>  Shovels and Rope is a Charleston\, SC band consisting of Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst. Formed in 2010\, they sing harmony driven folk\, rock and country songs using two old guitars\, a kick drum\, a snare\, a few tambourines\, harmonicas\, and and maybe a little keyboard sometimes.  They tour constantly as a two piece\, making as much noise as they can.
